How two DP sources reach the LED wall through an MX chassis

Two DP workstations or playback engines can stay independent at the input stage for VMP layer assignment before they continue through the MX chassis to the output-card and receiving-card path. Verify both forced 8K30 modes and the two 5 m DP routes; an “8K” label alone is not a source-map decision.

The input card consolidates source ingest; it does not decide LED-side capacity or create a second output path.

MX_2xDP1.4 vs MX_4 DP1.2, dual HDMI and the 8K60 DP card

Choose MX_2xDP1.4 for two DP 8K30-class sources. Choose MX_1xDP 1.4 8K60 for one DP source at 60 Hz, dual HDMI for HDMI sources, or MX_4 DP1.2 for four DP 4K60-class feeds. The choice is source count, connector and refresh, not LED output count.
