T40 Datasheet: The Document NovaStar Actually Publishes

NovaStar datasheet

NovaStar publishes no T40 datasheet. The PDF that circulates against the T40 name is the TB40 document, and that is what you can download here — labelled for what it is, so nothing on your drawing gets sized against the wrong product.

The document that is actually published

  • TB40 Multimedia Player Specifications V1.2.4Official NovaStar PDF, 31 July 2026 — hosted copy. This describes the cased TB40, not a T40.

Need the T40 itself? See current T40 price and stock on the product page.

Why there is no T40 datasheet here

  1. NovaStar’s download center lists specifications for the T10 Plus, T30 and T60 boards and for the TB-series boxes. There is no T40 entry.
  2. Its firmware release note for this generation is named for the models it serves — T30, T50, TB30, TB40, TB50 and TB60 — and the T40 is not among them either.
  3. The PDF most sellers attach to a T40 listing is byte-for-byte the TB40 document, which describes a cased product with its own dimensions, weight and power input.
  4. So we serve that file under its real name. If you need a board with published figures, the T30, T50 and T60 all have current specifications.

T40 Datasheet FAQ

Short answers for common PDF, setup and documentation questions.

Is there an official T40 datasheet?

No. NovaStar publishes no T40 specification, manual or firmware package. The file offered here is the TB40 document, which is what circulates against the T40 name.

What exactly does this PDF describe?

The TB40, a cased multimedia player carrying 1,300,000 pixels with an HDMI input, running on DC 12 V and weighing 459.7 g. Do not read its dimensions or power figures as a T40’s.

Can I still order a T40?

Yes, subject to confirmation. We check the exact part, its pixel capacity and its board dimensions with the supply chain in writing before invoicing, because no published document settles them.

Which board should I specify instead?

The T30 for stored content only, the T50 when a live HDMI source is needed, or the T60 above 1,300,000 pixels. All three share one 165.0 × 146.4 mm footprint and all three have current NovaStar specifications.
