How this finder decides
Every answer on this page comes from our own receiving-card documentation — the same model-by-model replacement logic written on the 61 product pages, which is anchored to NovaStar’s official specifications. The finder only states a pairing when that documentation explicitly supports it.
That cut-off is deliberate. A receiving card that fits the same slot or advertises a bigger pixel count is not evidence it can drive your modules: the connector, hub board, module wiring, data-group layout and configuration file all have to line up. Where the documentation stops, the finder says so and hands you to a human instead of guessing.

How do I identify my old receiving card?
Read the label on the card itself — the model is printed on it (for example A5s Plus, MRV210-1, DH418). If the label is worn, photograph both sides of the card and the hub board and send them to us; the layout identifies the model.
Is the same model always a safe replacement?
The same model is the verified starting point, and the checklist still matters: the hub board, module wiring and saved configuration must match, and you should load the known-good configuration file rather than judge a fresh card’s picture unconfigured.
What files do I need before swapping a receiving card?
At minimum the working receiving-card configuration (RCFGX) for that cabinet type, plus calibration data where used. COEX-generation cards use an NCP cabinet package instead.
Can I put a newer, higher-capacity card in an old cabinet?
Not on capacity grounds alone. Our product pages are explicit that a card fitting the same space or advertising more pixels is not evidence it drives your modules — the connector, hub board, data path and configuration file all have to line up. When a page documents no direct path, the answer here is to check with us, not to guess.
